What I was up to today...

Besides working on my favorite craft project so far, I had a pretty full and crafty day!

I started my day off seeing The Dark Knight Rises with my hubby and our good friends at 12:01am, so we didn't make it home until around 3:45 am! It was one of the best movies I have ever seen, but I won't post any spoilers, I promise!

I absolutely could not believe what I saw when I got home and turned on the news, and my heart goes out to the people affected in Aurora, CO. What an incredible tragedy...

Then at the incredibly early hour of 10:00 am (which is pretty early when you go to bed at 4:30 in the morning!) I met up with two of my amazing colleagues to catch up and talk about the upcoming school year. Afterwards, we headed to Michael's, where I picked up some great deals!

So cute! I'm going to put it with my school keys :)

I also picked up some frames that were on sale, 50 cents a piece!! I made this poster after seeing the phrase on Pinterest and cracking up!

Then I finished my teacher supply box by using mod podge on the top and sides and added my name with some leftover stickers I found in a drawer...

Here's a sneak peek at what I'm working on for Monday Made It #2!

(Can anyone guess what I'm doing?) :)
