What is a "connected" classroom you say?
I believe that having a "connected" classroom means you use technology in meaningful ways on a daily/weekly basis to enhance student learning. This might be using podcasts, displaying bell ringers in a power point or keynote, or using apps on iPads to enhance a lesson. Not all of us have laptops in every classroom, but there are still many ways to get creative! We have to schedule in advance time in the computer lab, but I've found that even incorporating media or a cool app into a lesson can really increase student interest. What kinds of sites do you use for inspiration? Do you use any web 2.0 tools to aid you in planning?
